Villefort Wins, LaRosa Steals the Show at Shark Fights 14

by Michael David SmithDanillo Villefort won in the main event at Shark Fights 14 Friday, but it was Tara LaRosa who put on the night's best performance.

Villefort took a one-sided unanimous decision over Matt Horwich, winning 30-27 on all three judges' scorecards. It was a fine showing for Villefort, who improved his record to 13-3 and has now won four straight fights since losing his first and only UFC bout. But it wasn't particularly exciting, and it left a lot of the fans in Lubbock, Texas.

The fans were thrilled, however, by the way LaRosa won.
