"I would love to fight that guy just to punch him in his mouth and shut him up," Marquardt said in an interview with MMAFighting.com on Thursday. "That'd be nice. He's an ass, he's a total punk, just no respect. I don't like Bisping."
Marquardt, who will meet Dan Miller in New Jersey on Saturday at UFC 128, isn't always the most out-spoken in regards to fellow fighters. But he believes Bisping's actions went beyond over the line, despite Rivera's trash talk in the build up of their fight last month.
"The crap talking and whatever, that's one thing," he said. "Guys hype up fights. And even guys that are just like that naturally, I don't hold that against them. But the fact that he goes and spits in his opponent's corner? That's so disrespectful. That's not what a martial artist does and it's not what a sportsman does."

Penick's Analysis: Bisping's got no shortage of potential opponents for his next fight. There are a lot of guys ready, willing and able to step up against him, and depending who is ready when the UFC wants to book him for his next fight. Marquardt is right up on the totem pole of fighters that make a lot of sense for that, especially with a win Saturday, but if he gets the job done against Dan Miller and Chael Sonnen isn't ready for a return yet, Bisping vs. Marquardt sounds like the right fight to me.
