A documentary on UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva will premiere this April during the Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival in lower Manhatten.

"Like Water" follows Silva in his preparation for his UFC 117 bout with Chael Sonnen in August of 2010, and is one of six films being featured, and takes place as part of the Tribeca Film Festival from April 20 through May 1.

The film was directed by Pablo Croce, and boasts intimate access to Silva and his training camp, and promises a look at "the surprising and inspiring man behind one of the greatest mixed martial artists of all time emerges."

The screening schedule for the festival will be revealed on March 21, but tickets can be purchased now at TribecaFilm.com. Tickets are $16 for evening and weekend film screenings and $8 for daytime weekday and late night film screenings.

Penick's Analysis: This sounds like an immensely interesting documentary, and hopefully it will find some type of wider release for fans following the festival. It's not likely to hit theaters around the country, but hopefully it's something that can either be aired on television or be made available on DVD sometime soon.
